It provides tools like a drag-and-drop page builder to quickly and easily create sales and course pages. Additionally, it has built-in marketing features like automated email campaigns, coupon codes and discounts for enrollments, upsells for existing customers, A/B testing for sales pages, and more. 

Submitting a paper is crucial if you’re a student enrolled in a Thinkific course. But how can you do it successfully? In this article, I’ll provide step-by-step instructions on uploading assignments in a course on Thinkific. This comprehensive guide includes how to navigate the student dashboard and where to find the assignment submission form. 

By the end of this article, you should have all the information you need to submit papers successfully in any Thinkific course.  


Submitting Assignments in a Thinkific Course 

Step 1: Logging into Your Course 

As a student enrolled in a Thinkific course, you’ll need to log into your account before accessing the assignment submission page. You can do this by navigating to the login page and entering your credentials. 

Once logged in, Thinkific will take you to the student dashboard, where you can view your courses and assignments. 

Step 2: Finding the Assignment Submission Page 

To find the assignment submission page, click on the course that contains the assignment that needs to be submitted. Doing so will take you to the main course page, with links for each lesson and any required assignments. 

Click on the link for the specific assignment that needs to be uploaded, and it will bring up a new window with more information about it, such as the due date, instructions, etc. There should also be a link or button labeled “Submit Assignment,” which we need. Click on this link or button, and it should open up an upload form where we can prepare our files for uploading.  

Step 3: Preparing Your Assignment for Uploading 

Before we can start uploading our files, we need to make sure they are properly formatted and named appropriately. Hence, they are easily identifiable by our instructors when they review them later on. Here are some tips:

  • Formatting Files: Ensure all uploaded files have been saved in an acceptable file format (e.g., .docx, .pdf).  
  • Naming Files Appropriately: When naming files for upload, ensure they are clearly labeled with descriptive titles to avoid confusion about each file (e.g., Assignment_Name_John_Doe).  
  • Adding Text Descriptions to Files if Necessary: In some cases, instructors may request additional information regarding the submitted file(s). If this applies in your case, add text descriptions along with each file uploaded, providing more details if necessary (e.g., A description of my research paper outlining why I chose this topic).   

Once these steps have been completed, we can begin uploading our assignment into Thinkific!  

Step 4: Uploading The Assignment in Thinkific 

After preparing our files according to what was mentioned above, simply drag and drop them into the upload form provided. You can also select them manually using Browse/Choose File buttons at the bottom of each field to begin uploading them one at a time (or select multiple files if allowed). 

Step 5: Confirming Successful Submission of Assignment

Once all your files have been successfully uploaded, click Submit/Save/Next button at either the top or bottom of the page depending on instructor settings. By doing this, you have successfully submitted your paper! Congratulations!
