In honor of voter’s day, I read two books with the Pre-K.
We had a secret ballot to decide the “winner” and Vote For Me won by a landslide (as I suspected it would based on the silliness of the tale and the roaring laughter from within the classroom). There were some voter related coloring activities, book browsing and check out. A lot of requests for princess books and truck books.
The first and second grade had an introduction to programming via Tynker. We will be doing more programming in class as the year rolls along.
Third through sixth graders had a mini lesson on simple circuits and made LED pins.
